I did this a while back and have it hanging in my home. It seems to be a good idea to go back to realism for the time being. It is so satisfying to play with the more abstracted style; however, once it is out of my system, my evolution to realism kicks in. It bothers me sometimes that my art seems so divergent, but I am doing what I love, and should a need to be an abstract expressionist arise for a day or two, I am giving myself permission to do it.
