The blizzard was spectacular. This is a photo of the view off my kitchen porch.
We have 32" of snow here in northern Maryland. Fortunately, I have a woodstove as a backup. The radio is filled with callers who are cold in their homes, as 250,000 lost power because trees fell on the lines. They are telling them to climb into bed with their family and pets, as it is about 18 degrees F. Some grocery stores are saying they will accept people in just to get warm, but most people cannot get out of their houses to get there. Mother nature is in charge.
